KDH welcomes MP Rastislav Krátky to strengthen economic program
The Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) has officially welcomed Member of Parliament Rastislav Krátky into its ranks. Krátky, who has been part of the KDH parliamentary club since January, will focus primarily on developing the party’s strategic economic program. He expressed a goal to enhance Slovakia’s competitiveness and economic stability to protect the social system.
During a meeting of the KDH National Council in Bratislava, the party also addressed its readiness for upcoming regional and municipal elections. KDH reported a significant candidate pool, including 118 candidates for regional councils, 16 for mayors, 400 for village mayors, and 3,786 for municipal councilors. Milan Majerský is running as the KDH candidate for regional president.
Additionally, the Council passed a resolution reaffirming the protection of human life from conception to natural death as a core identity of the movement. Majerský emphasized that this principle must include practical support for women, mothers, and families in difficult situations.
