Keşan Municipality approves major infrastructure and environmental grants

The Keşan Municipal Council held an extraordinary meeting to discuss various grants and technical support for local infrastructure and environmental services.

Key allocations approved include 12.6 million TL from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change for the purchase of two large garbage collection trucks. Additionally, the council accepted 5 million TL in technical support from the Turkey Environmental Agency for the renovation of walking paths at Mehmet Gemici Paradise Garden.

Further funding includes 10 million TL in grants from İLBANK for road, sidewalk, and infrastructure works, along with another 5 million TL from the Turkey Environmental Agency for walking and bicycle paths. The council also approved 5 million TL from İLBANK for the procurement of interlocking concrete paving stones and concrete curbs for 2026 road works. The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is also providing a grant of 250 tons of bitumen for asphalt production.
