Keşan Women's Assembly raises funds for students

The Keşan City Council Women's Assembly has announced the results of its “Solidarity Event for Educational Support,” a fundraising initiative aimed at assisting students in need. Through the sale of handmade products by local women and donations from the community, the initiative raised a total of 45,015 TL.

The funds were used to provide stationery, shoes, and school clothing for 15 students, including 11 from central Keşan and four students attending school via transportation from surrounding villages.

Şaziye Günbeyi, President of the Women's Assembly, emphasized that the project served not only as financial aid but also as a means to strengthen the culture of social solidarity and community cooperation. She expressed gratitude to the local women for their craftsmanship and to the residents of Keşan for their support.
