Kecskemét celebrates City Day with cultural programs and exhibitions

Kecskemét is preparing for its City Day celebrations, featuring a series of programs running from September 30 to October 20. The festivities include an outdoor photo exhibition titled ‘Window to the Past’ on the main square, showcasing digitized historical images of the city.

Special emphasis is being placed on the 130th anniversary of the Katona József National Theatre, which will host an exhibition of archival materials from its history through November 30. Additionally, the city will host musical programs, including a cimbalom performance, and two autumn fairs featuring crafts and food.

Regarding local weather, Kecskemét is expected to experience warm, sunny conditions, with temperatures potentially reaching 25 degrees Celsius during the upcoming period.
