Kecskemét hosts market development meeting and Piarist gathering

Kecskemét is hosting two distinct community-focused events. The Market Development Working Group will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 26, at the City Hall to discuss the future of local markets. The session aims to gather feedback from local producers, vendors, and civil organizations regarding infrastructure improvements, service quality, and the promotion of regional products. The group also intends to explore ways to enhance the markets' community, cultural, and tourism functions.

Additionally, approximately fifty members of the Piarist order gathered in Kecskemét from August 17 to 19 for a provincial chapter meeting. Centered on the theme of unity and community, the three-day event included discussions on upcoming pastoral tasks, mental hygiene, and the synodal process. The meeting featured messages from the Piarist General, Carles Gil y Saguer, and celebrated various priestly anniversaries within the order.
