The Kecskemét District Prosecution has filed charges against a juvenile for multiple counts of robbery, disorderly conduct, and minor physical assault. The defendant, who was previously released from a juvenile correctional facility, is accused of a series of violent encounters targeting children in Kecskemét.

The incidents began on February 17, 2025, at the Kecskemét bus station, where the suspect allegedly attacked a child, resulting in minor bruising. Shortly after, the defendant reportedly confronted two children in the city center, using intimidation to demand and receive 18,000 forints.

A third incident occurred at a bus stop, where the suspect allegedly threatened a youth with physical harm to obtain headphones, an e-cigarette, and 500 forints. Law enforcement apprehended the suspect within hours of the final incident and recovered the stolen items. The prosecution is seeking a prison sentence to be served in a juvenile detention center.
