Kedah football legends reunite for 1993 nostalgia event

Former football legends from the 1993 Merdeka Cup era reunited at Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar, Kedah, for the Merdeka Cup Nostalgia 1993 program. The event brought together approximately 300 supporters who gathered to meet the players, obtain autographs, and take photographs.

Key former import players in attendance included Olubunmi Adigun, Peter Neiketein, and Tibor Szaban. The reunion serves to commemorate the historical success of the Kedah squad and the prestige of the Merdeka Cup during the 1990s. Following the activities in Alor Setar, the players were scheduled to travel to Langkawi to continue participating in the nostalgia celebrations.
