Keely Hodgkinson and Audrey Werro advance to 800m final
The women's 800m preliminary rounds at the European Athletics Championships featured high-speed racing and significant drama. In the first semi-final, Audrey Werro led the race before suffering a fall on the final bend. Although she finished last after the incident, Werro successfully appealed the result and will advance to the final to compete against Hodgkinson.
