Keen Ruffalo lands role in Amazon Prime drama Sterling Point

Keen Ruffalo, son of actor Mark Ruffalo, has landed his first major role as Connor Jacobson in the Amazon Prime coming-of-age drama, Sterling Point. The series follows twins raised by a single father in New York City who inherit a remote island in Canada.

Before entering the acting profession, the 25-year-old was studying fashion design. Ruffalo noted that the COVID-19 pandemic led to burnout and a desire for a career change. He revealed that securing this role required significant persistence, stating, "I'd probably done at that point upwards of 100 auditions."

Initially, Ruffalo auditioned for a different character named Ellis, but casting directors redirected him toward the role of Connor after a chemistry read with co-star Ella Rubin. While Mark Ruffalo expressed support for his son's career shift, he reportedly questioned whether Keen was prepared for the realities of the industry.
