Keeneland horse racing features historic tie between Luis Sáez and Joel Rosario
During the Fall Meet at Keeneland, a high-stakes unclaiming race featured a historic dead heat between jockeys Luis Sáez and Joel Rosario. The race, contested over 1,700 meters on a dirt surface with a $78,000 purse, saw the horses Majestical and Lolo Le Plume cross the finish line simultaneously, leading judges to declare an official tie.
Joel Rosario rode Lolo Le Plume as a substitute for Irad Ortiz Jr., who is currently sidelined with a fractured left ankle. Luis Sáez guided Majestical to the shared victory.
Earlier in the racing schedule, Panamanian jockey Luis Sáez also achieved notable success, securing three victories during the Friday session. Trainer David Jacobson also recorded multiple wins during the meet.
