Kefalonia: Car hangs over cliffs near Gradakia Beach

An Italian family narrowly escaped tragedy on Sunday afternoon when their rental car veered off course and became stuck on the rocky coast of Kamaroules, near Gradakia Beach in Kefalonia.

The white vehicle ended up in a precarious position, with its front section hanging over a precipice toward the sea while the lower part of the car was wedged against the rocks. Despite the dangerous location and the rugged, inaccessible terrain, all passengers in the vehicle were unharmed.

Due to the vehicle's position, a crane had to be deployed to facilitate its removal. A coordinated rescue operation was carried out to safely retrieve the car from the rocks.
