Kehl clubs and Hochschule Kehl expand volunteerism projects
The city of Kehl hosted its eighth club meeting, showcasing the progress of a collaborative initiative between local associations and students from Hochschule Kehl. Twelve specialized projects have been established to connect students with the local community, focusing on strengthening Kehl as an educational hub, fostering social cohesion, and strategically developing clubs and municipal institutions.
During the meeting, several projects were presented, including tools such as an ‘Engagement-Finder’, an ‘Engagement Certificate’, and a workshop for child protection concepts. Specific examples of the collaboration include work by the associations Tante Emma e. V. and Leben im Dorf e. V., which are working with students to develop new social event formats, empower women, and promote youth participation in democratic village life. Additionally, students are assisting these organizations with the creation and maintenance of their social media presence.
