Keiara Raitt joins ZSC Lions Frauen as third foreign player
Canadian forward Keiara Raitt, 24, from Ontario, has signed with the Zurich‑based ZSC Lions Frauen, becoming the club's third foreign player for the upcoming season. Raitt holds a master's degree in business, entrepreneurship and technology and spent six seasons in Canadian U Sports with the University of Waterloo, playing over 120 games.
She was selected for Hockey Canada’s Creating Coaches program, an initiative aimed at preparing players for future coaching roles, and was one of nine league‑wide participants. ZSC Lions Frauen sport director Christine Meier highlighted Raitt’s physical strength, scoring ability, work ethic and two‑way forward style, noting room for further development. Raitt, who primarily plays right wing but can also cover centre and left wing, will report to Zurich on Thursday to join the team’s training camp at the Swiss Life Arena.
