Keio Bus to launch new Kofu Line services from Tokyo Station

Keio Bus Co., Ltd. has announced a schedule revision for the Chuo Highway Bus Kofu Line, effective October 16, 2026. The update introduces a new departure point at Bus Terminal Tokyo Yaesu (Underground A) for certain evening services.

One specific evening service, previously departing from Busta Shinjuku at 19:05, will now originate from Bus Terminal Tokyo Yaesu at 18:20. This service travels via Kofu Station and will provide a more direct route between Shinjuku and Katsunuma, reducing travel time to destinations west of Katsunuma by 12 minutes. The fastest connection from Busta Shinjuku to Kofu Station will be approximately 1 hour and 58 minutes.

To commemorate the expansion, a limited-time campaign will offer special discounted two-ticket sets for the Kofu Line at the same price as the current Shinjuku rates. Reservations for the new service will open on September 18, 2026.
