Keir Starmer donates biography to Downing Street library

Keir Starmer has donated his biography, ‘Keir Starmer: The Biography’ by journalist and former Labour advisor Tom Baldwin, to the Downing Street library. This addition joins a collection of over 400 titles housed in two separate libraries within the Prime Minister’s office.

Established in 1931 by the first Labour Prime Minister, Ramsay MacDonald, the library operates on a tradition where ministers and former leaders donate books they consider personally significant or politically important. Seven ministers from the Starmer administration have also contributed to the collection. Notable recent donations include Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy’s ‘All In: How we build a country that works’ and Darren Jones’s copy of Pope Francis’s ‘Laudato Si: On Care for our Common Home’.
