Keçiören Municipality conducts communication training for staff

Keçiören Municipality in Ankara, in collaboration with the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, organized a ‘Public Relations and Corporate Communication’ training program for its staff. The initiative, led by the municipality’s Human Resources and Training Directorate, aims to ensure that services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with the institution's corporate identity.

Conducted by instructor and presenter Tuğba Yönter at the Keçiören Municipal Council Meeting Hall, the training covered topics including effective communication, public relations, diction, rhetoric, body language, and protocol rules. The program is designed to improve staff communication skills, strengthen the institution's reputation, and prepare employees for crisis management.

During the session, Yönter emphasized that municipal employees act as primary representatives of the institution, noting that staff members are often the most accessible point of contact for citizens. The training aims to help participants integrate these communication strategies into their daily work processes to shape positive public perception.
