Keçiören Municipality expands student support with free shuttle services

Keçiören Municipality has expanded its educational support programs for students through the KeçiKart system. Following previous initiatives providing canteen and stationery assistance, the municipality has now introduced free school shuttle services for middle school students.

Under this new program, the municipality will cover shuttle fees for students traveling between 0 and 3 kilometers from their residence to their school. The KeçiKart system centralizes various supports: canteen assistance for primary school students, stationery aid for primary, middle, and high school students, and the newly added transportation support for middle schoolers.

Mayor Dr. Mesut Özarslan stated that the goal is to ensure economic conditions do not prevent children from accessing education and to promote equality of opportunity. The initiative is also designed to support the local economy by directing funds to local canteen, stationery, and shuttle service providers.
