Keçiören Municipality Launches Comprehensive Mosque Cleaning Campaign

Keçiören Municipality’s Cleaning Services Directorate is carrying out a district‑wide sanitation program for all mosques, prayer rooms and related facilities. The effort includes vacuuming carpets with dedicated machines, scrubbing mihrabs, pulpits, windows, shoe racks and doors, and disinfecting fountains and ablution areas to maintain high hygiene standards.

Exterior work involves washing courtyards, entrance pathways and garden spaces so worshippers can use the sites in a clean and comfortable environment. The routine is scheduled to continue throughout the year, with teams rotating through the district’s neighborhoods to ensure consistent upkeep.
