Keita Kosugi earns Bundesliga praise at Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Keita Kosugi is gaining significant attention in Germany for his performances in the Bundesliga. Despite his relatively small stature of 172cm, the 20-year-old has established himself as a regular starter, earning praise from local media for his dynamism, high work rate, and aggressive tackling.

German media outlets have described him as a ‘fearless little samurai’ who refuses to back down against physically larger opponents. While he has overcome initial struggles to adapt to European football, reports suggest he still needs to improve his stability, stamina, and concentration to fully meet the demands of the Bundesliga level.

Kosugi is currently representing the Japan U-21 national team at the Asian Games. He has received mentorship from veteran Makoto Hasebe and continues to train one-on-one with teammate Ritsu Doan to refine his defensive intensity and professional standards.
