Keita Kosugi records three assists in Eintracht Frankfurt debut

Keita Kosugi, a 20-year-old Japanese defender, recorded three assists during his official debut for Eintracht Frankfurt. The performance occurred during a DFB-Pokal first-round match against fifth-tier side SV Sandhausen, which Frankfurt won 11-0.

Kosugi, who joined Frankfurt from Swedish club Djurgårdens IF in January, played the full match as a left-back. His assists facilitated goals for Jonathan Bird, Jean Uzun, and Mario Götze. Local media outlets, including Bild, praised his performance, noting his aggressive attacking contributions.

Kosugi previously played for Shonan Bellmare's youth academy before moving to Sweden. He has represented Japan at various youth international levels, including captaining the U-17 squad at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
