Nicole Kidman reflects on past marriages and future career
In a recent interview with British Vogue, actress Nicole Kidman reflected on her personal life and career milestones. She addressed her first marriage to Tom Cruise, noting that despite warnings that the union might impact her professional trajectory, she was willing to prioritize her relationship, stating, “Of course I’ll throw my career away. I don’t care.”
Kidman also discussed the conclusion of her marriage to musician Keith Urban. Following their divorce, which was finalized in early 2026 after she filed in September 2025, she described feeling “very fearful and deeply vulnerable.” She noted the difficulty of adjusting to an unknown future but expressed a commitment to moving forward with hope.
Regarding her future, Kidman mentioned her long-standing residence in London and potential plans to live outside the United States once her daughters reach university age. Professionally, she is preparing for the release of Practical Magic 2, scheduled for September 2026, which she is also producing through Blossom Films.
