DeNA rookie Shuto Naruse makes key defensive play in Climax Series

During the first game of the Climax Series First Stage at Tokyo Dome, Yokohama DeNA BayStars rookie infielder Shuto Naruse delivered a standout defensive play against the Yomiuri Giants. In the seventh inning with the score tied 1-1, Naruse executed a diving stop on a ball hit between third and short, followed by a quick throw to second base to complete a double play. The play prevented runners from advancing to scoring position.

In other news from the matchup, DeNA player Shugo Maki drew attention from fans and broadcasters due to an unusual facial expression made during his second at-bat in the fourth inning. The reaction, captured during a television replay, became a topic of discussion on social media platforms.
