Kejagung seizes Rp338.3 billion in assets in bauxite corruption case

The Indonesian Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has seized assets totaling approximately Rp338.3 billion linked to Sudianto, also known as Aseng, the beneficial owner of PT Quality Success Sejahtera (QSS). The seizure is part of an investigation into alleged corruption regarding the management of bauxite mining business licenses (IUP) in West Kalimantan for the 2017–2025 period.

Between August 25 and August 29, investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) and the Asset Recovery Agency conducted operations across various locations in West Kalimantan. The seized assets are divided into two main categories:

Immovable assets, including land and buildings in Pontianak and Kubu Raya, valued at approximately Rp1.4 billion.

Moveable assets, valued at approximately Rp336.9 billion, which include heavy equipment, operational fleets, and maritime transportation such as seven barges worth Rp210 billion and nine tugboats worth Rp90 billion.

Previous seizures in this case have included luxury vehicles, such as a Lamborghini Aventador, as well as excavators and dump trucks.
