Kejaksaan Republik Indonesia marks 81st anniversary

Various regional offices of the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office (Kejaksaan Republik Indonesia) held activities to commemorate the institution's 81st anniversary.

In Kepulauan Selayar, the local prosecutor's office conducted the destruction of various criminal evidence following final court rulings. The items destroyed included 151.5 grams of methamphetamine (sabu), which was processed using a blender and water, as well as electronic goods, fertilizer, explosives, fish bombs, and machetes. The event was led by Head of the Kepulauan Selayar Prosecutor's Office, Fandi Hasibuan.

In Malang Regency, the local prosecutor's office held a memorial service and flower-laying ceremony at the Prayuda Nirwana Heroes' Cemetery in Kepanjen. Led by Head of the Malang Regency Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Fahmi, the ceremony served as a tribute to national heroes. The anniversary, officially recognized as September 2, commemorates the historical appointment of R. Gatot Taroenamihardja as the first Attorney General of Indonesia.
