Kellie Bright thanks fans following EastEnders exit announcement

Actress Kellie Bright has released a video message to fans following the announcement of her departure from the BBC soap opera ‘EastEnders’. Bright, who has portrayed the character Linda Carter for 13 years, expressed gratitude for the support received after her exit news was made public last month.

In her message, Bright referenced her character’s affinity for flamingos, stating, ‘Linda hearts you back. Flamingos forever.’ The actress noted that she made the decision to leave last year but agreed to stay longer to complete an ‘exciting storyline’ developed by producers.

Producers Kate Oates and Ben Wadey have promised that the character’s final storyline will be ‘full of unmissable drama.’ Bright, who joined the show in 2013, indicated she is looking forward to her next chapter and spending more time with her family.
