Kelly Clarkson Ends Talk Show to Focus on Parenting After Husband’s Death

Kelly Clarkson announced that The Kelly Clarkson Show will conclude after its seventh season, with filming already completed and the remaining episodes scheduled for the 2026 TV season. She said stepping away from the daily schedule allows her to prioritize her two children, River (12) and Remington (10), following the August 2025 death of ex‑husband Brandon Blackstock after a three‑year cancer battle.

Lifestyle expert Lawrence Zarian, a regular on the show, described the finale as “bittersweet” and revealed that he and Clarkson performed a duet of “Suddenly Seymour” from *Little Shop of Horrors* during the final weeks. Zarian added that Clarkson will focus on motherhood and may return as a coach on the 30th season of *The Voice*.

The announcement emphasized Clarkson’s gratitude for the show's crew and fans and marked the end of a seven‑year daytime TV run that earned an Emmy.
