Kelly Clarkson has concluded her seven-season run of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ with a musical series finale. The episode, which aired on August 31, featured a ‘Kelly by Request’ format, allowing fans to select performances from her extensive catalog, including her own hits like ‘Since U Been Gone’ and ‘Stronger.’

A major highlight of the finale was a performance of ‘Golden’ from the film ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ which was noted as the most requested ‘Kellyoke’ cover in the show’s history. The episode was marked by several emotional moments, particularly when Clarkson’s children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, appeared on stage. River’s comment about enjoying watching her mother ‘shine every single day’ moved Clarkson to tears.

Clarkson previously announced in February that she would be stepping away from the daily demands of the talk show to prioritize her children. This decision followed the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in 2025 after a battle with cancer. Throughout the show’s seven-year tenure, Clarkson earned 24 Daytime Emmy Awards and produced over 1,200 episodes.
