Kelly Osbourne addresses political disagreements with Sharon Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne has publicly addressed political disagreements with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, specifically regarding support for anti-immigration activist Tommy Robinson and views on transgender rights.

During an interview with Attitude Magazine, Kelly stated, “I don’t agree with my mum, no,” regarding Sharon’s apparent support for Robinson’s activities. Kelly also expressed sadness over her mother’s stances on LGBTQ+ issues, suggesting that Sharon’s views on the trans community may stem from a lack of personal experience or education on the subject. Kelly noted, “I don’t know if my mom knows enough trans people to make a fair judgment.”

Despite these differences, Kelly emphasized that she loves her mother and that Sharon is “entitled to her own opinions.” The controversy follows Sharon Osbourne’s recent criticism after she commented on an Instagram post related to a march promoted by Robinson. Consequently, the charity Centrepoint announced it would end all future ties with Sharon Osbourne.
