Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos welcome new rescue dog Javi

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have officially welcomed a new rescue puppy, named Javi, into their home. The adoption follows a delay caused by a health issue involving a parasite that required the dog to undergo treatment.

The couple, who previously shared their interest in the dog (formerly referred to as Lucas) on their show ‘Live!’, confirmed the adoption via social media. The New Jersey-based nonprofit Pet ReqQ Inc., from which the couple adopted the animal, shared a photo of the pair embracing the puppy with the caption, “Welcome Home, Javi.”

Javi has joined the family's existing dog, Lena, whom the couple adopted in 2020.
