Kelly Rowland joins The Voice UK as coach

Kelly Rowland, the former Destiny’s Child singer, has joined the British edition of The Voice as a coach. She replaces LeAnn Rimes, who served as a coach for one season.

Rowland stated her goal is to find artists who “make you feel something” rather than simply searching for a perfect voice. She expressed interest in the UK edition due to the musical exchange between the British and American music industries, noting the storytelling and musicality of British artists.

The upcoming series introduces a “rewind button,” allowing coaches one opportunity during blind auditions to reconsider an act that has already left the stage and offer them a spot on their team. Emma Willis is also set to return as host.
