Kelompok Usaha Harapan Bersama joins BRI Peduli AURA program
The Kelompok Usaha Harapan Bersama, a business group in Cibubuan Village, Sumedang, has become a platform for local economic empowerment. Led by Sri Dolar Damayanti, the group originated from the HJ. NONOH Snack home business, which has produced traditional Sundanese snacks since 2014.
The group provides employment and income for local residents, serving as a vital economic support during the COVID-19 pandemic. They specialize in traditional snacks such as emping melinjo, opak, raginang, and various chips using ancestral recipes.
In 2026, the group became a beneficiary of the AURA (Aspire to Uplift, Revive, and Achieve) program initiated by BRI Peduli. This initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs. The group currently faces challenges in increasing production capacity to meet high demand during holidays and managing production risks during the rainy season due to a reliance on sun-drying methods.
