Kelowna charity golf tournament raises record $206,000

The 16th annual Wilson M. Beck Charity Golf Tournament in Kelowna raised a record-breaking $206,582 for the YMCA of Southern Interior BC. Held on July 20, 2026, at the Kelowna Golf & Country Club, the event saw participation from over 140 golfers.

The funds are designated for the YMCA’s Financial Assistance program. This initiative provides support for individuals who lack the financial means to access various services, including affordable childcare, camp experiences, mental health services, and health and wellness programs.

Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services served as the tournament’s title sponsor. Organizers noted that the record-breaking total reflects community unity in ensuring YMCA services remain accessible to those facing economic pressures.
