Kelowna fatal collisions: Charges laid in 2025 crash and motorcyclist identified

Authorities have laid charges against Tristian Pelletier-Vallee in connection with a February 2025 collision in Kelowna that resulted in the death of 90-year-old Louisa Nicole Saebels. Pelletier-Vallee, 30, faces charges of dangerous operation causing death, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, and failure to stop for a collision. The incident involved an uninsured BMW that collided with a Mitsubishi SUV and a Mazda sedan at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 33.

In a separate incident in Kelowna, Stefan Vracarevic, a member of the Kelowna Crows rugby team, has been identified as the individual who died in a motorcycle crash on September 17. The collision occurred at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Ethel Street. The Kelowna RCMP are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash, noting that the driver of a sedan involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with officials.
