Kelurahan Langkai delivers food aid directly to elderly and sick residents

In Kelurahan Langkai, Palangka Raya, local authorities are implementing a direct delivery system for food assistance to ensure vulnerable residents receive aid.

Lurah Langkai, Muhamad Abidin, reported that 1,115 residents in the area are receiving food assistance from the central government. Additionally, the sub-district is distributing 500 food packages to those affected by forest and land fires (karhutla).

To accommodate residents with physical limitations, officials are proactively delivering packages directly to the homes of the elderly, individuals suffering from strokes, or those who are too ill to travel to distribution points. This initiative aims to ensure that aid reaches its intended targets despite physical mobility challenges.
