Kemal Şamlıoğlu appointed Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

Prof. Dr. Kemal Şamlıoğlu has been appointed as the Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). The appointment was made by TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

Şamlıoğlu previously held several high-level positions, including serving as a Deputy Minister of National Education from June 2023 to September 2024. His career also includes roles as General Director of Private Education Institutions and Secretary General at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.

An academic by profession, Şamlıoğlu most recently served as a professor in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Samsun University. His expertise spans education policy, legislation, strategic planning, and budget management.
