Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu emphasizes women's role and rule of law

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), emphasized the critical role of women in societal change during a panel titled ‘Republic is a Women's Revolution’ held at the party headquarters. Kılıçdaroğlu stated that women possess a potential capable of ‘moving the world’ and urged them to utilize this power for the sake of their children, the country, and the legacy left by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

During his address, Kılıçdaroğlu highlighted several systemic issues facing Turkey. He stressed the necessity of the rule of law, arguing that ‘where there is no law, there are no human rights’ and that an independent judiciary is essential to prevent despotism and violence. He also expressed skepticism regarding the current state of media freedom.

Furthermore, Kılıçdaroğlu discussed economic and social stability, noting that the strengthening of the middle class is vital for maintaining a country's moral fabric. He warned that nations failing to produce high-value products are destined to fail and emphasized the importance of sustainability and continuous development in a competitive global environment.
