Kemenkum NTB expands legal services and initiates 2026 legal mapping
The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in West Nusa Tenggara (Kemenkum NTB) has launched several initiatives to improve legal accessibility and mapping in the province.
As part of the 81st Pengayoman Day celebrations, the agency provided legal services to the public at Ampenan Beach in Mataram. These services included facilities for trademark and copyright registration, alongside creative competitions such as painting and brand design contests to promote intellectual property awareness. Participants included various local universities and vocational schools.
Additionally, Kemenkum NTB is collaborating with multiple agencies, including the Regional Police (Polda), the National Narcotics Board (BNN), and the High Court, to develop a 2026 Legal Problem Map. This inter-agency effort aims to identify and inventory regional legal issues, such as narcotics, corruption, land disputes, and violence against women and children, to create a comprehensive overview of the province's legal landscape.
