Kemi Badenoch rejects potential deals with Reform UK

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has ruled out any potential coalition or electoral deal with Reform UK following the next general election. Speaking at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Badenoch stated she would prefer to hold a fresh election rather than form a “monstrous Reform/Conservative hybrid” government in the event of a hung parliament.

Badenoch launched a sharp critique of Nigel Farage and his party, describing defectors who left the Conservatives for Reform as “some of the most dishonest people I have ever met in my entire life.” She further criticized Farage’s leadership style and the perceived inconsistency of Reform UK’s policy announcements, asserting her intention to win the next election on her own terms.
