Ken Daito action film to be screened at Bali film festival and schools

The Japanese action film ‘Unso Dragon: Powered Ningen Battle Courier’, directed by and starring Ken Daito, is set to be screened at the ‘Festival Film Pertukaran Budaya Bali’ in Bali, Indonesia, on September 11.

Beyond the film festival, the production will be screened at educational institutions and schools within the Karangasem and Gianyar regencies of Bali. To commemorate the screenings, a ceremonial tree planting is also planned. The initiative aims to use the film as a tool for cultural exchange and education, reaching younger generations in Indonesia.

Ken Daito, a former Japanese arm wrestling champion who utilizes martial arts like Nippon Kempo and full-contact karate, describes his approach as ‘power-style action.’ He views the role of an action actor as extending to that of an educator, using the discipline and perseverance shown in film to inspire others.
