Ken Daito promotes unique ‘power-type action’ style

Action actor Ken Daito is promoting a unique style of physical expression known as ‘power-type action.’ Moving beyond traditional agility and acrobatics, Daito utilizes his background as a former Japanese arm wrestling champion and practitioner of Shaolin Kempo to incorporate weight, destructive force, and presence into his performances.

Daito emphasizes that an action actor’s body should serve as both a tool for acting and a medium for expression, integrating physical strength with emotional storytelling.

His new project, the power-action film ‘Unso Dragon: Powered Human Battle Courier,’ is scheduled for various releases. The film is set for distribution on platforms like U-NEXT and Amazon Prime, with planned screenings in Bali, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
