Ken Matsudaira's Summer Festival at Yokohama's Hakkeijima Sea Paradise

Yokohama's Hakkeijima Sea Paradise hosted a two‑month summer program, “Matsuken Marime Marime Island Summer Campaign,” from July 18 to August 31. Japanese entertainer Ken Matsudaira (known as “Matsuken”) arrived on a specially themed cruise ship, performed a live version of the event’s island song, and greeted fans.

The event also showcased the new AI‑music attraction “SONIC TUNE!” in the OTO‑RACTION PARK area, where Matsudaira, transformed into a youthful “Mini Matsuken,” rode the ride as its first guest. Additional highlights included a “Matsuken‑themed” aquarium exhibit, a surprise appearance in a dolphin‑and‑song show, and a final tour of the island aboard a themed train.

The festival emphasized immersive entertainment, with performances, interactive rides, and themed displays running through the end of August.
