Ken Paxton filmed in Dubai with two indicted US businessmen

Texas Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton was filmed attending a New Year’s Eve 2024 celebration in Dubai alongside two American businessmen facing federal indictments. The event, held at a luxury high-rise overlooking the Burj Khalifa, included Paxton, his girlfriend Tracy Duhon, and businessmen Anosh Ahmed and Sameer Suhail.

Ahmed and Suhail had been indicted in the United States regarding an alleged $15 million healthcare fraud scheme involving Chicago’s Loretto Hospital. Ahmed also faces separate charges related to an alleged $195 million fraudulent COVID-19 testing scheme. While both men were abroad at the time of the Dubai gathering, they have since returned to the United States. Ahmed is currently in custody, while Suhail’s legal counsel stated his client returned voluntarily following the resolution of civil disputes in Dubai.
