Ken Urker found dead in Louisiana home

Ken Urker, the former partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and father of her daughter, was found dead at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on October 1, his 34th birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that officers responded to a residence following a call at 6:15 p.m., where Urker was determined to be dead upon arrival. While a cause of death has not yet been determined, investigators indicated there were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Blanchard, 35, reflected on her final in-person interaction with Urker, which occurred on September 22 when she surprised him with a meal delivery. Following his death, Blanchard has launched a petition seeking legislation to hold social media platforms accountable for their handling of online harassment reports.
