Kenan Pars re-elected as head of TÜED Uludağ branch

Kenan Pars has been re-elected as the President of the Turkey Retirees Association (TÜED) Uludağ Branch during its 5th Ordinary General Assembly held in Bursa. Representing approximately 30,000 members, Pars emphasized that the association is fighting for the rights of retirees rather than seeking charity.

During his speech, Pars highlighted the worsening living conditions for retirees and called for several structural reforms. His key demands include the implementation of an adjustment regulation, the elimination of base salary inequalities, ensuring the minimum retiree pension does not fall below the minimum wage, and the provision of a welfare share.

The association has submitted a 24-item file to relevant authorities detailing these needs, which also include reducing the financial burden of healthcare services and re-evaluating monthly pension attachment rates. Pars stated that the association's struggle is non-partisan and will continue to support anyone defending retiree rights.
