Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz is dealing with a patellar tendinopathy that limited his play at the end of last season and curbed his involvement with the Turkish national team. Club orthopaedic specialist Dr. Massimo Comastri described the condition as “one of the most difficult tendon pathologies to manage” and warned that surgery could become necessary if the problem worsens.

Yildiz is scheduled for further diagnostic exams around 20 July.
