Kenda launches Velora Endurance road cycling tires
Kenda has launched the Velora Endurance K-SERIES, a new line of tubeless-ready road cycling tires designed for training, long-distance riding, and daily use. The tire features a 120 TPI K-Series Endurance Road Casing, which aims to provide flexibility and smooth riding by adapting to asphalt irregularities.
The manufacturer claims the new model offers 27% greater durability than the Kenda Kriterium. Additionally, the Endurance TLR construction includes specialized puncture protection concentrated under the central tread area, which Kenda states increases puncture protection by 35% without compromising rolling efficiency.
The tire utilizes a dual rubber compound: a harder compound in the center to reduce drag and increase durability, and a softer compound on the sides to improve grip during cornering. The tread design includes a smooth center for efficiency and lateral grooves to assist with water evacuation. The product is available in Brazil in 700x28c and 700x32c sizes, distributed exclusively by Isapa.
