Kendal Calling Festival 2026 draws 40,000 fans with sold‑out shows

The Kendal Calling Festival held at Lowther Deer Park in Cumbria attracted around 40,000 attendees for a four‑day, sold‑out event in August 2026. Headliners included The Kooks and The Cribs on the opening night, followed by a line‑up featuring Vanessa Carlton, Two Door Cinema Club, Ash, The Coral, Scissor Sisters, Biffy Clyro, The Libertines, Primal Scream and Wolf Alice.

Festival goers praised the unusually good weather and the extensive food options, which ranged from traditional burgers and pizza to fish and chips, gyros, Yorkshire pudding wraps, vegan dishes and a sit‑down restaurant called Ranch 76. The event also offered a variety of activities such as the Lost Eden woodland area, Tim Peaks Diner, Desert Island Disco and Chai Wallahs.
