WWE NXT Superstar Kendal Grey is facing an uncertain future following a vestibular system injury that has left her sidelined indefinitely. The 25-year-old athlete suffered severe ear trauma and vertigo, which began during a match against Lola Vice and worsened during her NXT Women’s Championship match against Kelani Jordan at Heatwave 2026.

During a recent episode of NXT, Grey participated in a therapy session where she expressed the emotional toll of her condition. She noted that while she lost her championship title, the inability to compete to win it back has been particularly difficult. Grey stated, “I just don’t know where I’m going. I’m lost, restless. It’s like I’m stuck in this hole that I can’t get out of.”

Grey indicated that her recovery timeline is unpredictable, suggesting she could be away from the ring for weeks, months, or potentially a full year. She also voiced concerns regarding whether the injury might permanently impact her physical capabilities and the qualities that define her wrestling style.
