Kendal Grey returns to in-ring action following medical clearance

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey has returned to in-ring competition following medical clearance. Her absence from the ring lasted over a month after she suffered a vestibular system injury and vertigo following the NXT Heatwave event. Her last match prior to this hiatus took place on August 30.

Grey’s return was highlighted during a recent episode of NXT, where she appeared backstage to interact with Wren Sinclair. During the segment, Grey revealed she had received medical clearance and expressed her intention to reclaim the championship.

Her return coincides with upcoming storylines involving the NXT Women’s Championship. Following an intervention by NXT General Manager Robert Stone, Wren Sinclair is scheduled to challenge Kelani Jordan for the title at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31. Grey’s return is expected to influence the championship landscape following that event.
