Kendal Regency launches free rabies vaccination program

The Kendal Agriculture and Food Service (DPP) is conducting a free rabies vaccination program across five locations in Kendal Regency to commemorate World Rabies Day. The initiative aims to reduce the risk of rabies transmission from animals, such as dogs, cats, and monkeys, to humans.

The program provides 300 vaccine doses and includes educational outreach for pet owners. Vaccination sites include the Kaliwungu Animal Health Center, followed by Sukorejo, Weleri, Boja, and the DPP Kendal office. The schedule runs from September 2 through September 29, 2026.
